Press Go on the lid and it pulls the air out of the jar. Turn the lid off, blend as usual, then pull the red tab to pour. The full manual covers charging, presets and cleaning.
With the air gone, there's little to whip into foam, so protein shakes come out much smoother.
Browning needs oxygen, so with most of it gone, your smoothie holds its color longer.
Rising bubbles drag pulp to the top, so with less air, smoothies separate more slowly.
We put the same ingredients into two VOID blenders and ran one with the vacuum on and the other with it off. These photos were taken 20 minutes after pouring.
The vacuum lid is the same in every box. What changes is whether you also need a jar, or the whole blender. Pick what you own and we'll point you to the right one.

That covers the 5000, Super 5000, 5200, 5300, 6300, 6500, 7500, 780, Pro 300, Pro 750, CIA, TurboBlend, and the Explorian E310, E320 and E520. Some bases need a small trim to the VOID adapter gasket before it seals. Trimming it doesn't affect your VOID warranty. If you'd rather have the whole thing, we make the blender too. That's the Complete System.

The Complete System is our own blender with the VOID lid included. You can keep your Vitamix for hot soups and nut butters and use the VOID for smoothies, which is where you'll notice the vacuum most.

A grooved black rubber pad takes the Retrofit Kit. A smooth top with no pad, which is the Ascent or the Venturist, takes the Complete System.

Orders shipped outside the United States can't be returned, though the warranty still applies and we'll repair it.
Ordering from outside the USLUBA GmbH in Germany sells the lid and a compatible jar under the Madalga name, on their own delivery and returns terms, and ships across Europe.
The lid is the same one we make here and the fit is the same: Blendtec jars take the lid on its own, classic Vitamix bases take the VM2 jar. LUBA doesn't list the Complete System.

Conner Dickson's grandfather founded Blendtec, so Conner grew up around jars, blades, and motors. He designed the VOID lid himself, down to the circuit board, and built the first ones by hand at his bench in Utah. He runs VOID with his wife, Autumn.
Every lid ships with a magnetic wireless charger, a magnetic USB-A cable that plugs into a port rated 750mA or higher, and a USB-A to USB-C adapter. There's no wall plug in the box. You can charge the lid from almost any USB phone charger, and a charge lasts about a month of everyday use, so we figured you'd rather use a charger you already have than keep a new one in a drawer. The battery is rated for thousands of charges. If it fails inside the three-year warranty, it's handled as a warranty repair on the terms set out on our warranty page.
Use the finder above and pick the blender you own. If it points you at the Complete System, that's our own blender, so it works whatever is on your counter. If you're still not sure, email CS@voidvac.com a photo of the top of your blender and we'll confirm it before you order.
Neither the lid nor a VOID jar goes in the dishwasher. Rinse the lid under running water with a little dish soap, but do not submerge it, and keep the wireless charger away from water. Take the gasket off to clean underneath it.
Do not refrigerate or freeze the lid, and do not pour boiling water into it.
Three years on vacuum lids, five years on blender bases, one year on jars. The warranty page sets out what a repair costs and when. Separately, you have thirty days from purchase to return or exchange it on U.S. orders. On a change of mind return you cover the return shipping, and once we've agreed the return, it needs to ship within 7 business days, or a 10% fee applies. We can't accept returns on orders shipped outside the United States, though the warranty still applies to those orders.
